Dr. Halperin has been a Licensed Psychologist in California since 1980 with a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Halperin is a trained Psycho-analyst and was trained by and is a protégé of Dr. Bernard Bail.
He has been practicing Clinical Psychology in multiple settings including in-patient acute care and psychiatric hospitals, residential substance and mental health treatment, Partial hospitalization, Intensive Out-patient, office-based psychotherapy and consultation, in-home, corporate consultation, union consultations and court-based settings for over 40 years.
He has thousands of hours of experience evaluating, treating, and managing the treatment of individual adults, children, teens, couples, and families. He has consulted with individuals, families, and companies and served in the capacity of expert testimony in the legal system. He has treated well over ten thousand patients and families.
